Annexus Practice Report: Intensity Picks up at NAU

The Phoenix Suns tip off the 2016-17 season on Saturday with the team’s annual intra-squad scrimmage, and fans can catch the action live on Suns.com and through the Suns mobile app at Suns.com/app, brought to you by Verizon. The team will also stream its three preseason home games on Oct. 3, 5 and 14.

Saturday’s intra-squad scrimmage will offer fans their first opportunity to see Suns stars Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker and Brandon Knight take the court with returning fan-favorites Jared Dudley and Leandro Barbosa, along with promising rookies Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss and Tyler Ulis.

The annual scrimmage tips off at noon at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome on the campus of Northern Arizona University, and is free and open to the public. Those unable to attend are encouraged to view the game live at Suns.com or through the Suns mobile app at Suns.com/app, brought to you by Verizon, where Suns postgame radio voice Jon Bloom will be joined by Suns radio color analyst and alumnus Tim Kempton. 

The team returns to Talking Stick Resort Arena for preseason games on Oct. 3 (vs. San Antonio), Oct. 5 (vs. Utah) and Oct. 14 (vs. Dallas), all of which will also be streamed live via the Suns digital channels. Streaming of the team’s preseason games will start at 7 p.m.

The Suns will tip-off the 2016-17 regular season when they host the Sacramento Kings in the Coca-Cola Fry’s Food Stores Home Opener on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Single-game tickets for all Suns home games are on sale now here and by phone at 602-379-SUNS.
