Suns To Host 8th Annual Arizona Lottery Fiesta Night

The Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Lottery will host the eighth annual Arizona Lottery Fiesta Night on Monday, March 9 when the team hosts the Golden State Warriors at US Airways Center. As part of the festivities, the first 5,000 fans in attendance, 21 and older, will receive an Arizona Lottery “Los Suns” t-shirt. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., with doors scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m.

To celebrate Arizona Lottery Fiesta Night the team will wear Los Suns jerseys during Monday’s game and “Azteca De Oro” a strolling mariachi band will serenade fans upon entry. Six lucky fans will take home autographed Los Suns jerseys, courtesy of the Arizona Lottery, and one lucky Arizona Lottery player will also leave the Fiesta Night game with $1,000 cash as part of an in-game promotion featuring Tony Bouie, Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery.

“Fiesta Night is a sensational cultural event with exciting attractions,” said Karen Bach director of products and communications for the Arizona Lottery. “It’s been an honor to participate in the Suns Fiesta Night festivities for the past eight years.”

Fiesta Night will also feature a special halftime performance by national recording artist Alessandra Castronovo. Castronovo was a contestant on the seventh season of “The Voice” in 2014. She will perform with the help of Suns Dancers and Solar Squad.

In addition, fans can expect “fiesta” inspired menu items at concessions stands. Levy Restaurants will offer specialty margaritas at Sir Veza’s and El Charro as well as in the Suns Cantina. Sir Veza’s will also be adding specialty menu items during this game.

Finally, Suns fans who purchase $10 in Arizona Lottery Powerball tickets at the kiosk located outside section 119/120 will have the opportunity to spin the prize wheel and win Arizona Lottery prizes.
