In an improbable, yet inspiring season, the Suns ended on a high note.

With a 104-99 win over the Kings in Sacramento, Phoenix picked up their 48th win of the year on Wednesday.

No, the Suns didn't make the playoffs, but it's hard to consider this season as anything but an enormous success as evidenced by a 23-game turnaround from 2012-13.

Phoenix held the Kings to just 43 percent shooting and 21 percent from the 3-point line. The Suns also forced Sacramento into 17 turnovers compared to their 11.

Archie Goodwin finished with 29 points on the night, while Marcus Morris added 22 points and six rebounds. Phoenix shot 47 percent from the floor and 40 percent from the 3-point line.

PLAYER OF THE GAME

Archie Goodin (still just 19-years-old) had the best game of his rookie year. Goodwin finished with a team-high 29 points on 11-of-13 shooting to go along with four rebounds and two steals. Indeed, Goodwin's future looks bright.
