2010 Playoffs: Suns @ San Antonio, Game 3

The Suns traveled to San Antonio for Game 3 on May 7.
Steve Nash and the Suns found themselves in a lot of traffic at the beginning of the game and fell behind by 12 points in the first ten munites.
The reserves and Louis Amundson couldn't reverse the trend and the Suns found themselves trailing by 18 with 8:25 left in the half.
Some defensive presure helped the Suns slow the Spurs late in the second period and the Suns started their climb back into the game.
Nash found more room to operate.
Amar'e Stoudemire was double-teamed most of the half but found some open shooters for 3 assists.
Channing Frye defended and also hit a big three pointer on a feed by Amar'e to get the Suns closer.
Grant Hill hit a field goal and added two free throws that pulled the Suns within four at the 18.6 second mark of the second period. The Suns trailed 50-44 at the half.
Amar'e continued to pass out of traffic and the Suns hit the shots to stay with the Spurs during the third period.
Hill continued to hit the short range jumpers to score 18 points for the game on 7 of 10 shooting.
Amar'e found himself free for two of his seven points. Stoudemire added eight rebounds and four assists.
The Suns still trailed by six when Goran Dragic hit a three-pointer with 1:05 left in the third period to close the gap to three. The Suns trailed by one entering the final period.
Dragic continued to work over the Spurs scoring with 11:21 to go to give the Suns their first lead of the game, 73-72.
After a Spurs score, dragic once again gave the Suns the lead.
Tthe Spurs scored again but five straight points by Leandro Barbosa gave the Suns the lead for good. Barbosa is congratulated by teammates. Leandro finished with 13 points, seven in the fourth quarter.
Dragic continued to pour it on hitting for 23 points in the fourth period. The Spurs only scored 24 as a team the entire quarter.
One of the three-pointers was actually a four-point play and the Suns bench reacts to the outstanding play.
Dragic scored 11 of the Suns next 13 points, including two three-pointers, and the Suns were leading by nine with six minutes to go.
The defensive end of the court also had plays to cheer about as the ball goes out of bounds the Suns way. Check out the Spurs crowd behind the bench.
Another Dragic layin to cap five points in a row gave the Suns a 14 point lead with four minutes remaining.
The icing on the cake came as the clock ran down with 5.7 seconds remaining when Dragic hit his fifth three-pointer in as many tries. Dragic was 10 for 13 from the field for the game and the Suns beat the Spurs 110-96 for a 3-0 series lead.
Coach Alvin Gentry couldn't be happier witht he Suns first playoff win in San Antonio in five years.
Nash couldn't be happier than being able to sit out the last two minutes of the third period and the first nine minutes of the fourth period while Goran went crazy. Nash scored 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds and added six assists for the game.
Jason Richardson provided 21 points that included 5 of 7 shooting from behind the arc to keep the Suns close when the Spurs threatened to run away with the game.
The bench reacts to the end of a 34 point turnaround as the Suns led by as many as 16 points after trailing by 18 points in the second quarter.
And in case you missed it, here is another Dragic fourth period score. Goran and Leandro scored 25 of the first 27 points for the Suns in the fourth period.
