This position is responsible for managing the day to day business operations for the Legends Entertainment District. The position is responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance of the company’s fiscal processes and budgetary tracking. In addition to multiple reporting assignments, this position is also responsible for managing, reviewing and finalizing the year-end operating expenses and projections. The employee must demonstrate tact and discretion while interfacing with all levels of staff, the public, government officials, project vendors and various entities and executives. Schedule flexibility must be available whenever needed.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the general office financial daily operations
  • Initiate development of contracts and facilitate process with legal departments
  • Assist in the management of the yearly planning process within company including review, analysis and compilation of both operating and capital budgets
  • Oversee operating expenses and year-end projections
  • Provide insight and support to department head on management of respective plans and the financial impact
  • Act as a consultant to department head on cost saving measures within the operation, identify additional cost saving opportunities to increase profitability
  • Identify financial problems, obstacles or opportunities and proactively take action to correct them or benefit from them
  • Process incoming requests from internal and external sources for general financial information
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external finance departments
  • Prepare expense and billing reports, coordinate payment approval of miscellaneous invoices
  • Assist the General Manager in annual CAPEX expenditures
  • Responsible for the billing and collection of all partnership receivables
  • Responsible for collecting and expediting vendor invoices
  • Create and maintain monthly cash flow reports for executive staff
  • Create and maintain various reporting for City of Phoenix and Panasonic partnerships
  • Assist the GM in projecting company signage revenue in relation to available inventory and its current market value
  • Track all marketing partnerships and their advertising revenue
  • Process commissions for all corporate partnerships
  • Maintain the Legends prospect and partner account lists
Required skills/qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or accounting related field
  • Minimum of three years related experience
  • Accounting and budgetary skill set required
  • General office financial management
  • Working knowledge of organization activities and interactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet and phone systems
  • Exceptional communicator, well-organized, independent and team-player
  • Ability to multi-task, strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles with an emphasis on financial analysis
  • Knowledge of industry standards, trends, and current events
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
