This position is responsible for generating new business and maintaining current membership revenue through the sale and renewal of courtside, loge, and club inventory via phone, networking events and face to face presentation.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Meeting or exceeding yearly sales and renewal goals
  • Building and fostering beneficial relationships with new and current accounts
  • Developing new business via phone sales and face to face presentations, both in arena and off property
  • Working during game nights – entertaining clients and answering customer service and sales questions
  • Attending team and community events for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
  • Seeking opportunities to prospect new clients
  • Creating opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Pursuing prospective customers
  • Networking within the local business area to acquire new business
  • Managing multiple relationships well
  • Maintaining computerized records of all clients and prospects with our CRM system
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field
  • 2-5 years proven sales experience with a luxury product
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to attend all home games and work irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Proven track record of sustained high level sales success
  • Proficient in computer software programs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
