The Phoenix Suns have recalled guard Kendall Marshall from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League, the team announced today.

Phoenix originally assigned the rookie point guard to their D-League affiliate on Nov. 29.

Selected with the 13th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Marshall appeared in nine games for the Jam, and averaged a development league-leading 7.6 assists to go along with 9.6 points in 31.0 minutes per game.

Tis’ the season to don ugly holiday sweaters, hang strings of lights, and lace up your sneakers.

To culminate the Phoenix Suns’ “All for Giving” holiday campaign, the team is transforming US Airways Center into a winter wonderland for the Suns-Clippers matchup on Sunday (December 23).

The holiday celebration, which will take place on the US Airways Center plaza beginning at 4:30 p.m., is open to the public free of charge.

Most people that hold a day job want to know what their roles are at their respective companies. NBA players are no different.

That’s why Suns head coach Alvin Gentry gathers the entire roster together before the first game of the season and tells each player what his role is on the team. So there is no confusion, each person is told his role in front of the rest of the team so everyone hears it.
