The leap from preps to pros no longer exists in the NBA, but Suns rookie Archie Goodwin’s transition is close enough.

The 29th overall pick in this year’s draft just turned 19 years old last week. He spent one year at Kentucky, a short enough stay for the former Wildcat to admit that the only friends from his college days were his teammates.

So how is a young man with minimal post-high school experience dealing with the leap to the biggest, adult stage in basketball? Turns out he’s kept himself too busy to say.

PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns announced their 2013-14 television broadcast schedule today, which will allow fans to see all 82 regular season games on the team’s exclusive local television partner, FOX Sports Arizona, or on FOX Sports Arizona Plus. In addition, the Suns will appear on national television five times this season, including four appearances on NBA TV and one on ESPN (February 28 vs. New Orleans).

European national teams are preparing the best way possible for their biggest hoops tournament by playing tournament-style exhibition schedules to help simulate the competitive feel of the upcoming Eurobasket 2013.

If the "friendly" tournaments are any indication, the Suns may be well represented.

Goran Dragic helped Slovenia down Italy in the Adecco Cup final, pouring in 19 points in a fast-paced, 92-84 win. The win capped off a thrilling show for host country, Slovenia, which saw Dragic, Bostjan Nachbar and Edo Muric do most of the heavy lifting.
