Suns Announce No Increase in Season Ticket Prices For 2010-11

Posted: Feb. 10, 2010

The Phoenix Suns announced today that there will be no increase in prices for Suns season tickets for the 2010-11 season, with reductions in selected sections. The plans will once again feature free parking, flexible payment plans and rewards for the second consecutive year. The club will mail complete renewal information to season ticket holders today.

“Our 2010-11 season ticket holder plan is the result of a lot of listening to what those season ticket holders told us about what was important to them,” said Rick Welts, President and COO of the Phoenix Suns. “Popular programs introduced last year will return such as the Game Day Seat Upgrade program and the Game Exchange program.”

The Game Exchange program allows season ticket holders to exchange tickets for designated future games if they are unable to attend a game (based on availability). The Game Day Seat Upgrade program allots a certain number of seat upgrade coupons per season ticket holder based on tenure and seat availability.

In addition, when Suns fans renew they will get a choice of one of five incentive gift cards to Donovan’s, Southwest Airlines, Fry’s Food Stores, McDonald’s or a Suns gift card. Other benefits of being a Suns season ticket holder include deals and discounts with Suns marketing partners, $500 off Suns party suites, $20 in Gorilla Bucks, and a personal SixthMan experience specialist.

Season ticket prices have been lowered on 4,500 seats, representing over 25% of the seats in US Airways Center. The Suns remain at the league average in ticket pricing in nearly all seat locations with the average ticket price at $71.65 (excluding floor seats and loge boxes). In addition, the team continues to offer 1,661 $10 tickets, and will be offering lower season ticket prices on 2,235 seats at $18 and 1,729 at $27.

Season ticket holders are urged to renew online at Mysixthman.com. Fans interested in season ticket plans for the 2010-11 Suns season, should call (602) 379-SUNS or visit Suns.com.
