The Phoenix Suns will officially tip-off preparations for their 40th NBA season on Monday with their annual Media Day at US Airways Center.

Once again this season, Suns.com will feature a live webcast from the Suns’ Practice Court, hosted by Tom Leander, Cedric Ceballos and Jamie Morris, beginning at Noon local time (3 p.m. ET). Log on for the hour-long special, which will include exclusive interviews with your favorite Suns players and coaches before they board a bus bound for Tucson, Ariz.

The club returns to Tucson for training camp once again this season after spending the 2006 camp overseas in Treviso, Italy, as one of four teams that participated in NBA Europe Live. Under Head Coach Mike D’Antoni’s direction, the Suns will workout at the University of Arizona’s McKale Memorial Center Tuesday through Sunday, October 7.

The Suns will hold a public intra-squad scrimmage at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 6 at McKale. The suggested donation for admission is just $6 for adults and $3 for kids ages 18. Tickets are available online, by calling 1-800-452-CATS, or at the McKale Center Ticket Office. All donations from the game will go to University of Arizona to support university programs. Fans in attendance will enjoy appearances by the Suns Dancers, Adio Sol Patrol and The Gorilla. Doors open for the game at 5 pm.

For those unable to travel down to Tucson to attend the event, Suns.com will produce a live webcast of the exhibition game with Leander and Eddie Johnson calling all the action from courtside.

Suns.com will be your home for in-depth coverage of Training Camp 2007, including all of the daily reports, photos and behind-the-scenes video you’ve come to expect from the official site of YOUR Phoenix Suns.
