The Phoenix Suns will host the first-ever “Phoenix Suns Charities Night” when the team takes on the San Antonio Spurs tonight (March 27) at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. with doors scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m.

“The Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Suns Charities are dedicated to serving the children and youth in our community,” said Phoenix Suns Charities Executive Director Robin Milne. “Last year alone, we helped more than 3 million Valley children. We are excited about our accomplishments, but realize our work is never done.”

Phoenix Suns Charities will be highlighted at the game with an in-game presentation showcasing their work within the community.

During the game, Suns fans will also have the opportunity to shop at “The Gorilla’s Closet,” which features autographed memorabilia from current and previous Suns players. “The Gorilla’s Closet” will be located at four locations in the arena: the Casino Arizona Pavilion, FlexPrint Club, in front of Section 105 & 106 and by the Suns Team Shop. All proceeds benefit Phoenix Suns Charities.

Single-game tickets are still available for the Suns-Spurs game on Tuesday, March 27. Fans can purchase theirs today at or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX.

Phoenix Suns Charities, the philanthropic arm of the National Basketball Association’s Phoenix Suns, utilizes the resources of the Suns organization to make grants to non-profit organizations that serve children and youth in the areas of education, health and human services, the arts, sports and recreation, and rehabilitation. Since its inception in 1988, Phoenix Suns Charities has donated more than $12 million to Arizona organizations, helping children and families across our state.
