Suns to Host Military Appreciation Night January 24

The Phoenix Suns will pay tribute to military veterans and active duty personnel during Military Appreciation Night, brought to you by Carl’s Jr., on Friday, January 24, when the team hosts the Washington Wizards at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The celebration will highlight active duty military personnel and veterans throughout the evening, including participation in the national anthem and Suns player introductions, and inclusion in a number of in-game tributes, activities and contests. Military personnel and veterans will also receive a 20% discount in the Suns Team Shop throughout the game. In addition, the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Phoenix Suns “Salute to Service” t-shirt.

“The Suns are dedicated to showing our continued support and appreciation to the men and women of the United States military,” said Suns President, Jason Rowley. “Many members of our organization have close ties to the military and personally understand the sacrifice made by these brave individuals to ensure our safety and protect our freedom.”

The special evening will serve as a continuation of the Suns Military Appreciation initiative launched last season which offers discounted tickets to military personnel for any Suns home game, while supplies last. Great seats are available starting at $15 and can be purchased at Suns.com/military. Those who purchase tickets will need to show a valid military ID when picking up their tickets at the US Airways Center box office.
