PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns and Arizona Lottery will host Arizona Lottery Fiesta Night on Saturday, March 14 when the team takes on the Oklahoma City Thunder at US Airways Center. As part of the festivities, the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Los Suns/Arizona Lottery T-shirt (image below). Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The night will also feature authentic mariachi music and Ballet Folklorico dancers pre-game as well as a halftime performance by the professional hip hop dance group, Foot Klan Dance Troupe.

Suns guard Leandro Barbosa will greet fans and sign autographs at Fry’s Food Store (1245 W. Main St.) in Mesa Friday, March 13 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in advance of the Arizona Lottery Fiesta Night. The Suns Gorilla, Suns Dancers and Arizona Lottery’s Windfall Willie will also be on hand.

“The Arizona Lottery Fiesta Night is a great example of our commitment to entertain and provide the opportunity to see our favorite ‘players’ among the NBA master players, the Phoenix Suns, all courtesy of the Arizona Lottery,” said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. “We are constantly challenging ourselves to deliver more to our players.”

The Arizona Lottery operates entirely from the revenue it generates through the sale of its products; it receives no General Fund dollars from the State. Proceeds from sales of Lottery tickets—nearly 3 million per week – fund a wide variety of public projects and programs including arts, wildlife, parks, transportation, education and historic preservation in cities and towns throughout all 15 counties in Arizona. Since July 1981, the Arizona Lottery has paid out over $3.3 billion in prizes to players, nearly $2.1 billion in net profit to the state, and almost $410 million in commissions to retailers.
