 | Suns Head Coach Mike D'Antoni
(Opening statement): “Well, you know, not a whole lot to say. That’s the best I’ve seen someone play (the Spurs). They played well we didn’t have answers for them obviously, they just beat us. The only thing we’re going to do is gather ourselves for Sunday and give them a good win on Sunday and see if we can win one.”
(On the Spurs’ performance): “If they can play better than that I don’t know. Just whatever we tried to do they seemed like they had and answer and Tony Parker obviously was terrific. It’s funny, talk about taking away points in the paint and we did-we had 20 more than they did. You talk about fastbreak points, yeah we’re 12-to-2. But they hit everything, and the in-between game we were hoping to be able to weather the storm and they didn’t miss anything. From Duncan to Parker to Ginobili and the other guys when they had opportunities. Disappointing and down in the dumps and all that, but we just have to pick ourselves up and play Sunday.”

 | Suns guard Steve Nash
(On the loss): "This one was tough. I think we felt like we really had a win in us and for them to come out and play so well and us to play a below average game by our standards was tough."
(On San Antonio's play): "They played great. I don't think there were guys on our team that weren't trying hard. Their guys just started hitting shots and that was frustrating."
(On his play): "I just never really got into the game. I don't know if it was the rhythm or what happened but I just never seemed to have the opportunity and it was frustrating. I felt like an outsider most of the night."
(On the series): "We just need to win one game to show some pride. And go out here and win a game to stay alive. You never know what will happen so you can’t lay down. We just have to go out there and worry about Game 4 and try to have a good performance and feel better about ourselves. It’s not a good feeling we have right now and that should be some good motivation for Sunday."

 | Suns center Amare Stoudemire
(On the Spurs’ performance): “They played playoff basketball, it’s plain and simple. There’s no out of control plays, there’s no shooting the ball within the first second. They take their time and they make sure to get a good shot every time down. And that’s how you win the title-you have to make sure you get a good shot every time down and you have to make sure you defend well. You can’t stop all teams from scoring. Teams are going to score, but they made sure they played solid defense out there and they get a good shot offensively every time down. And that’s how you win a title.”
(Mindset going into Sunday): “My mindset is to try to get a win, just still play to win. That’s the name of the game. I’m never the one to give up, we’ve been in this place before. We managed to get one in San Antonio a few years back, but we can’t give up. We still have to fight and see what we can do.”

(On the series): "I think if we can win just one game we can take it from there and see what happens. It's never been done before but will probably be done one day."
(On San Antonio's play): "I don't really feel we got into them. They shot the ball well the whole game and Tony Parker, that was the best I've seen him play in a while."
(On what it will take to win Game 4): "We've got to get some stops. No matter what they're doing we've got to step it up and get some starts."

 | Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich
(Opening Statement): We possibly played our best game of the year and it resulted in a win. Tony (Parker) looked aggressive and did a great job at both ends of the floor. He’s just been phenomenal.
(On first quarter shooting): We were fortunate that we shot it so well. There is no guarantee that you are going to shoot the ball well or poorly and you never know that. It was important for us to not get in a hole again here on the road the way we did twice at home so we concentrated more on trying to get stops, trying to get back in transition D and fortunately we made some shots while we were playing some pretty good defense.
(On Suns’ effort): Well, they gave effort also. They wanted to win just as badly as we did, they worked just as hard as we did. We made shots, we played really well but there effort was there all night, it had nothing to do with that.
(On being surprised at being 3-0 in the series): I’m always surprised.

 | Spurs forward Tim Duncan
(On whether it was the Spurs’ best game this season): “Pretty close to it for a 48-minute stretch. We stuck to our game plan and did a pretty good job for three-and-a-half quarters in transition defense and getting back. Defensively we were pretty solid and obviously scoring the ball, Tony (Parker) was great and Manu (Ginobili) was great and we got the type of shots we wanted.”
(On their success in Phoenix): “Just through experience and time – we’re a pretty good road team in the playoffs. We do a good job of kind of buckling down and playing through ups and down, whether it’s home or away. I can’t speak to the success of here, I don’t know if there is any specific reason, but all in all we’re a pretty good road team.”
(On starting strong after starting slow in Games 1 and 2): “That’s the intention every game, but it doesn’t always go that way. We did a must better job of starting out. Obviously we kind of dug ourselves a bit of a hole in the first two games and we didn’t want to do that, especially on their floor, knowing that if we get in a hole like that, with their crowd behind them, you usually can’t get back in that type of game. We did a really good job scoring the ball in that first quarter and defensively, obviously we were pretty solid in that first quarter and just kind of got us rolling from there.”

 | Spurs guard Manu Ginobili
“It was one of the best games of the season, easily. We played an unbelievable game, we made tons of shots and we didn’t have any meltdowns in any part of the game. It was almost a perfect game and we are of course very happy with today’s performance. Our concentration was high all game long."
(On Tony): "It was crazy the way he played. The way he handled the pressure, he made tons of jumpers. Sometimes opponents rely on him missing shots because of his speed getting to the rim. So he hit everything today and besides that, he dished 12 assists. I’m very, very proud of what he did today and I told him it was one of the best performances in a playoff game.”

 | Spurs guard Tony Parker
(On his game): “It was a great win for us, it was a big game and we just learned from our past mistakes when we go 2-0 and don’t play well on the road. I think we learned a lot from that and me personally from those series where I had two good games and then Game 3 and Game 4 I was not really aggressive. So tonight I just wanted to be aggressive and see what happened.”
(On closing the series in four games): “We’re going to try our best and I think no one wants to give up games. We’re going to play hard and try to finish Sunday. It’s going to be very hard, (the Suns) will play like they have nothing to lose and we just have to give at least a good effort and play good basketball.”
(On stopping Steve Nash’s penetration): “It’s the whole team – it takes everyone to be focused and make sure everyone is in the paint and be aware of Steve Nash. He’s a great passer and a great scorer and I thought overall our team defense was very solid.”
