Suns Head Coach Alvin Gentry

(Opening statement) “You Have to be able to make plays down the stretch to win games, especially close games. They made them and we did not. We got the ball right at the basket and we could not get it in. They came down and they made two or three plays and that was the difference in the game. Once again, 21 points off 18 turnovers. You put yourself into two tough situations. We are struggling offensively. So to turn the ball over and give up 21 points offensively. We are just not playing very well right now.”

(On close game) “We got the game to the point where we should have won. You are up 10 and you are at home, you got to find a way to win the game. That’s been the story of the whole season. We have not been able to do it. ”

(On blocked shots) “We have to tuck in and be able to get it in the basket. They blocked 11 shots; you got to be able to get to the foul line. Can’t live off jump shots.”

Suns Forward Goran Dragic

(On if he seeks counsel from other players when dealing with the abundance of losses) “I talk with Grant Hill. You know, it’s tough - it’s different players than in the past for the Suns. In the past, four players spread the floor and one big guy rolls or plays the low post and creating from there you have more spacing. With this team we don’t have this. In the past, we were a running team – we ran a lot and scored some easy layups. We don’t do that anymore. ”

Suns Guard Shannon Brown

(On staying aggressive against shot blockers) “I mean, that’s all we can do is just stay aggressive – keep going to the rim and just try to finish and make the most out of the possession that we can. Hopefully, our guys can have some rebounding position – if they don’t hit it out of bounds, but all we can do is just continue to challenge them.”

(On the offense stagnating in the fourth quarter) “The offense didn’t stagnate as much – we got good looks so we shot and go to the hole and try to stay aggressive, getting good looks, getting jump shots, but you know some things just didn’t go in our favor. We can’t let that discourage us, we just have to keep going hard and we have to come up with stops on the other end also.

Bucks Head Coach Jim Boylan

“Well, it’s been 24 years of frustration coming out right there and for the Milwaukee Bucks but I’m really proud of the guys, the way they played, the way they battled. We had some moments in the game where struggled but we somehow we were able to regroup and we got some big contributions and big shots from a lot of different people off the bench, starters, everybody contributed. It was a great all around win for us.”

Bucks Guard Brandon Jennings

“Larry Sanders played big for us in the fourth quarter. We were able to knock down some shots. Mike Dunleavey hit a big three and we just kept stopping them. We’re winning. We’re two games over five hundred and if we keep winning we’ll be just fine.”

Bucks Center Larry Sanders

“The Suns played really hard. It was a hard fought game. We were able to battle back tonight and we showed a lot of fight which is good. The fourth quarter is really important. You have to play D and at that point it’s about possessions and whichever team gets the most stops is going to win the game. I knew about it (The streak) because we talked about it last year before the game but I was hoping we wouldn’t talk about it this year which we didn’t. I don’t like the bring up the past, it’s too much pressure but I was happy we came out and broke that streak."
