(On Defending the Post)

"I thought we did a great job on Jefferson and Milsap. Really a good job on Jefferson, he has been a guy who has really given us trouble in the past. I thought between Marcin and JO that we did a good job guarding him. And we tried to get him different looks. Some time we would come back and double. Some times we just let him play him. So we just tried to keep him off balance, but I just thought we did a good job overall."

(On Playing with the Lead)

"It’s just so much easier when you are playing downhill rather than uphill. I thought it was our best first quarter by far. I thought we did a great job of moving the basketball, and I was really happy because at half we had 22 baskets and they assisted on 16 of those. That tells me that we are moving the basketball and doing the right thing. We are not playing isolation."

(On the Last Two Wins)

"It’s important. The only game we got blown out in was against Detroit. We play well against good teams and we demonstrated this in the last two games. Our defense was really solid in both these games; these are really important games for us to win and to build our confidence."

(On the Win)

"You know, we earned it, defensively we got after them early on and we trapped the post. We didn’t let Jefferson and Millsap beat us like we did in Utah and we changed the game. That’s how we have to play to be successful, we have to be aggressive, we have to scrap, and hopefully we can keep doing that."

(On the Difference in the Game)

"I thought they came out aggressive early. They made shots and they pushed us and found spots on the defensive end. We didn’t execute our offense as precise as we did the other night, and they set the tone early and were able to get some transition baskets because we didn’t get any transition baskets all night. So it was their style of game, not ours."

(On Playing From Behind)

"We just didn’t come out with a sense of urgency from the beginning of the game. We had opportunities to come back, we cut it to four twice but we could just never get over the hump because they had their confidence going. They ran hard and cut hard and ran harder than we did tonight. The fortunate thing is we play again tomorrow night so we’ve got to learn a lesson tonight and start a new streak tomorrow."

(On the Game)

"They made a play when they needed it the most. Give them credit. They played like they wanted the win. That’s just the way it goes sometimes, it wasn’t our night. We have another game tomorrow. We’ll try to bounce back on our home floor. You’ve got to let it go. You don’t have a choice. You’ve got to let it go and get ready for tomorrow."

"I feel like we didn’t execute as well as we’re supposed to. We had some open looks that didn’t go down and our offense was just real stagnant. But give credit to them. They came out with a lot of energy and did what they were supposed to do."
