Head Coach Alvin Gentry

(On Getting the Win)

"It was a much needed win, obviously for us and once again it was against a real quality team. I thought our defense was really, really good. We struggled offensively, but I thought are defense was really good. We did a good job."

(On the Last Play)

"Well we wanted to go a high screen and roll. We wanted to try and keep the floor open. We had a couple of plays that we initially called. We were gonna run a play, but it was gonna then be a shot right away and we didn’t want to do that. We wanted to try and use as much of the clock as we possibly could so we went high screen and roll and Goran just made a great play."

Goran Dragic

(On the Winning Shot)

"The play was improv for me, you know: I play pick and roll and take that last shot. I saw an open gap on the right side and tried to pass Gasol. He denied that and I pump faked him – I don’t know if he jumped but I just turned around and saw that I had an open easy layup and I made it. You know, last time I missed the easy layup against Dallas so this time I told myself, you have to make that one."

(On Ending the Losing Streak)

"It feels good, to be honest. We lost every possible way you can: close games, blowouts, bad teams, good teams, different ways, different lineups, and sometimes you forget how to win. You know, those seven – eight games your confidence is down and you keep hearing the same things from Alvin: the turnovers, rebounding. For us to go out there and grind it out against one of the best teams in the West if not the NBA; especially the way we lost to them in Memphis, to comeback, it shows you a little bit about the character of this team.

Head Coach Lionel Hollins

(On the Suns' Comeback)

"It got away from us in the second quarter we got an 11 point lead. The second unit was playing very well and then we turned the ball over three times straight times and they scored all three times. We put the starters back in and they went zone on us and our starters didn’t execute, didn’t take shot when we had them and then once they got back in the game they felt good about themselves and it was a battle the rest of the game."

Marc Gasol

(On the Loss)

"We were not running our plays. We couldn’t score. We were playing decent defense and getting stops but offensively we were not executing. We were not cutting at the right time we were passing the ball too late. And it is hard to win when you don’t execute."

Zach Randolph

(On the Turnovers)

"It is about taking care of the ball. That’s our game. Taking care of the ball, executing, and getting up and down on the court and that it what we are not doing right now. These last two games we have not been doing that."
