Head Coach Alvin Gentry

(On Trying to Come Back)

"It’s just too hard to play against the world championship team, even without Dwayne Wade you get down 15 and you have to fight your way back. It’s hard to get over the hump, it’s too hard. You have to end up having the perfect storm and that doesn’t happen very often, especially when you’re playing the world champions."

(On Potential Lineup Changes)

"We can’t keep playing like this. We have to make some adjustment. We can’t keep playing like this. We have to do something where we can make an adjustment, and we’ll see what can happen from there. I think we tried to make sure we didn’t make any rash decisions or any snap judgments, and after looking at this and seeing what’s happened over the last four or five games it’s time for us to do something."

Michael Beasley

(On Potential Lineup Changes)

"It’s Alvin’s decision. No matter if you start, no matter if you come off the bench, you have to play with energy. I’m not talking about anybody individually, and I’m even talking to myself, but we have to play with energy. We have to play like we want to win. We can’t decide we want to win halfway through the second quarter, we’re not that good yet. So if he changes the starting lineup that’s his decision."

Goran Dragic

(On Difficulty of Falling Behind Early)

"The first quarter we had so many open shots, and we couldn’t score. We missed lay-ups, and they were up 10-0. After that it’s tough, and the same thing in the third quarter. You know, when we fix that, the not falling behind so many points, then it’s going to be much easier for us, and we are going to have more chances to win those games."

Erik Spoelstra

(On Tonight's Game)

"You can never take it for granted on the road. Sometimes you have to relearn how to win and the little things that it takes to win. So any time you can win on the road it’s a good win, and we’ll take it and hopefully get home soon."

(On LeBron James' Health)

"He doesn’t miss much. I can’t remember the last time he missed a practice or a shoot around, so when he missed today, obviously that makes you wonder and you know that it’s pretty serious. We knew yesterday that he hadn’t had any food. He went the whole day and in the late afternoon he was able to keep down Gatorade, but that was about it. He said with no hesitation that he would never leave those guys out there but there was a little bit of doubt with us. Even though he wasn’t himself he still had a spectacular game and his presence was important for us."

LeBron James

(On 3-3 Road Trip)

"It’s been a good trip. We played some good basketball and some not so good basketball, but it was good to end the trip the right way and now we’re going back home. This was our fifth game in seven nights, so we found enough energy to get this win."

Chris Bosh

(On His Role with Wade Out)

"I just stay aggressive, especially with Dwayne out. I know that my role has changed a bit, and I have to be a lot more aggressive so it’s just a matter of making shots when I’m open. We knew we had to make some adjustments and we had to do a better job. We got off to a good start and they kind of got back in it. You have to give credit to them; they picked us apart a little bit."
