(On the Team Effort)
"It’s a good win. We’ve obviously struggled with that team over the past couple of years, so to be able to get a win against them and be able to get a win at home was really important. I thought we played well. We had a lot of guys that stepped up and I thought did some good things. I thought Markieff had one of his best games of the season. Once again, Shannon Brown was good, and Goran has been pretty consistent in what he’s done."
(On the Offense in the Second Half)
"I just think everybody is getting a little more familiar with each other. That’s big, as we talked about. The execution was better for sure. The idea of just knowing the guy a little bit better beside you, I thought was really important."
(On the Key to the Game)
"Really good game for us, we had a tough game against Utah and we know that we have to take care of our stuff, especially at home. We were facing the No. 1 rebounding team in the league, and we knew what we had to do. We had to seal those guys and not let them get the rebounds and try and get back on defense so they could not score easy baskets. We knew it would be a close game if we did that."
(On His Focus During the Game)
"I just wanted to be aggressive. Lately I’ve been shooting too many jump shots, not getting to the line, not putting any pressure on the opponent. That was my focus for the night and the rest of the team responded tonight."

(On What Turned the Game)
"We had three turnovers after we cut it to one in the fourth quarter. You can’t take away your possessions by making mistakes. Fundamental things that we usually win: we win offensive boards and they kicked us on the offensive boards, we usually create a lot of points off our defensive hands and they converted our turnovers into more points than we did. I thought we were just unfocused and soft defensively. It was our worst defensive game that we’ve played in the last four or five games."
(On the Game)
"We got off to a good start but it seems like we could never focus in on defending like we did the last three or four games. It was an offensive game and close, but by giving them more extra possessions and giving them points off of turnovers, in a close game, those things punch you.”
(On Defensive Shortcomings)
"They just did a good job of picking us apart on defense. We really couldn’t get any stops. They had a couple of guys that just had it going. Defensively we’ve been a lot better the last four games, and tonight we just had some mental lapses and coverages. We were too lax in letting them get wherever they wanted to go and we didn’t disrupt them enough and they got some confidence and Dragic got it going in the fourth quarter."
(On the Loss)
"Our intensity and defense went down. Our defense was the secret of the four wins we had in a row, and tonight our defense wasn’t the same. I thought we played a pretty good offense, but our defense wasn’t that good. We have a tough schedule. But we knew the schedule was tough so we’ll be ready to go the next game."
