(On the play of the Suns) “I was disappointed in some stretches in the game where we really had a chance to extend the lead. We had a lot of loose possessions offensively, guys took some quick shots that were not warranted. The guys fought back and we had some guys make some plays down the stretch and did a good job defensively down the stretch when we needed to.”
(On the Clippers’ play) “They played well, all in all they gave a total effort. They all played well. We were up 12 to zero in the first quarter and went up 12 again. They kept fighting back, they kept fighting back, so they played well tonight.”
“Our guys competed for a full 48 minutes. We did a lot of good things, but we made some mistakes. We have to try to tighten our game up in that regard as far as turnovers, and we were called for eight charges today. I certainly did not agree with all of them, obviously getting tossed but most of them were the right calls.”
(On the play of Suns) “Shaquille O’Neal made 12 free throws, we can’t just stand there and give him too many dribbles. Location plays a big role is these decisions and we can’t foul him and just expect him to miss because things aren’t like they used to be.”
(On the Clippers' upcoming games) “We are really going to need good play from all the guys. Al Thornton will have good big nights and then Eric Gordon will come up big on others. We need to see consistency from all of them on the same night to see real results.”
(On picking up the new system) “I am getting more comfortable with my game and my teammates. I am the type of guy who really feeds off of my teammates. I am getting to know where they want the ball and where I can come in to help them out.”
(On injuries on the team) “It has been really tough. At the end of the day we just need to get our guys back. It seems like there has been a curse every game. We need to get everyone back so we can start to get spread out equally.”
