Suns Head Coach Terry Porter

"Well, we haven’t had much luck with last-second shots, game-winners, walk-off game winners this year. We seem to be kind of snake bitten. In that situation, we talked about switching everything and somehow we had two guys going with the curl guy, and (Danny Granger) popped. Steve saw him open and popped out, but we just didn’t do a good job communicating in that situation. With 0.9 seconds, Granger made a heck of a shot."

(On if the long break between games contributed to the slow start)
"I don’t know if you can say that, I thought our practices were really good and they were sharp. We just missed a lot of shots and missed free throws. We just couldn’t make some stuff early and they were hitting everything. Again, we turned it over which hurt us again tonight. For the most part, we have had that under control. Tonight, we just didn’t do a good job of it again. We had 19 turnovers and they got 25 points off of them. That really hurt us, but I thought our guys were aggressive and we took the ball to the basket and ended up with 39 free throws which was good. I just thought our guys battled; I thought we battled the whole game. I thought when we got that lead we were good; once LB hit that shot we were good but you have to keep playing. It was disappointing obviously to lose that game, but we just have to move on."

Suns Forward Amar'e Stoudemire

"We didn’t quite shoot the ball well in the first half and kind of got in a rhythm in the second half. We played well and did everything we could to win the game – fought back and got back in the game, but (Danny Granger) just happened to make a tough shot there at the end. It happens that way sometimes."

(On whether the long break between games affected the offense)
"I think so. Having so many games off – not practices, but games – it’s hard to get into a game rhythm. We’re going to have practice tomorrow, watch some film and get ready for the Mavericks on Friday."

Suns Guard Jason Richardson

"The second buzzer beater. It’s tough in a game like this, where we were down bad and we fought the entire game. We didn’t shoot the ball quite as well as we normally do, but we found a way to have an opportunity to win the game or go to overtime and to have a guy come out and hit a fade away three is tough."

(On the slow offensive start)
"We were just getting used to playing together after so many days off – it was just getting back into the game rhythm."

Pacers Head Coach Jim O'Brien

“If Danny Granger isn’t an All Star, then I don’t know what an All Star looks like. He was spectacular tonight and a great team win for us. I thought our defense in the second half was outstanding. It’s great to win at the buzzer."

(On Granger)
"His last 10 games, he’s averaging 31 points a game. He has a 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. He’s averaging close to 50 percent from the three. He made some spectacular defensive plays on Amar’e. He’s bringing the whole package."

"We’ve been in so many close games this year. If you look at the number of games that have been won or lost in 5 points… We’ve lost two in one week at the buzzer like we won here. We’ve won three out of the last four ball games and they were all tight. We’re learning by being in so many close games."

Pacers Forward Mike Dunleavey

“It felt great to be back and to get a win and a win in that fashion is terrific. We need to get some wins and to get this one tonight, we’ll take it."

(On last shot)
"It was exactly what we drew up. We went to the first option and Danny was the main option and he just stepped back there and drilled it. It was a great shot by him. The way we play, we can beat any team in the league, but we can also lose to any team in the league."

Pacers Forward Danny Granger

“Coach drew up a great play. We ran some people around and I ran away and I popped to the top and got a look. When I got that open look, I let it go. I’m always confidant it’s going in the hole. We’re just trying to get as many wins as possible because we’re better than our record shows."

"My last game winning shot I think was in college."

"I think we made some big defensive plays. We stepped up and took some charges. Luckily the missed some open looks, but we missed some open looks too. I think defensively, we played better than we had in the past, especially against a top notch team."
