November 1st

    Qwest Leadership Challenge (QLC) nomination forms sent to Arizona high school girls & boys varsity basketball coaches
    (Nomination form also available on Suns.com)

December 1st

    Deadline for completed Qwest Leadership Challenge nomination forms
    One male and one female from each high school may be nominated. Please email or fax nomination forms to: Devney Preuss at dpreuss@suns.com/(602) 379-7898

December 12th

    Qwest Leadership Challenge tip-off event at US Airways Center
    Participants and one guest each will be invited to a pre-game reception at the Suns vs. Utah Jazz game & will receive additional program information

March 1st

    Deadline to complete 30 hours of community service and submit evaluation form
    (QLC evaluation form also available on Suns.com)

March 10th

    Suns and Qwest will select & notify ten scholarship finalists (5 girls / 5 boys)
    Finalists will be invited to the Suns vs. Timberwolves game on April 4, 2008

April 4th

    QLC scholarship finalists invited to the Phoenix Suns vs. Memphis Grizzlies game
    Ten (10) finalists plus 1 guest each will receive tickets in the Qwest VIP Party Suite
    On-court QLC scholarship presentation will occur during half-time
    Two (2) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded

Suns/ Emerson HopeKids Clinic

The Suns recently teamed up with Emerson to provide a special day on the court for special children in the HopeKids program.
