2010-11 Preseason Schedule Announcement

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns will tip-off the club’s 43rd NBA season with an eight-game exhibition slate that was announced today. The Suns’ 2010 preseason schedule includes the club’s third annual outdoor exhibition contest as well as two trips north of the border.

The Suns open preseason play Oct. 5, travelling to Sacramento to take on the Kings on the first night of a back-to-back that will take Phoenix to Rogers Arena (formerly GM Place) in Vancouver, British Columbia, to play the Toronto Raptors.

Phoenix plays the first of three preseason games at US Airways Center on Oct. 12, hosting the Utah Jazz at 7 p.m. The Suns close their exhibition slate by playing their final two preseason contests at home, hosting the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 19 and the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 22.

For the third consecutive season, the Suns return to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif. for an outdoor game. This season’s game, which will again be broadcast live by TNT, is against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, Oct. 9 and will tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
