Suns Head Coach Alvin Gentry

(On PJ Tucker) “I love PJ Tucker; I think you can stick him in the game. I thought he did a great job on Luol Deng. He ends up 8 for 14. I think two of those baskets were on Tuck. He did a good job.” (On Luis Scola fouling out) “Like I said, the guy just competes like crazy. He knows angles and basketball. When we lost him and he was playing so well offensively. We were kind of going through him and so when he fouled out it put us in a little bit of a tough situation. That’s why you have guys on the roster. You have to have guys come in and step up you really do. “

Suns Forward Luis Scola

“It’s been happening to us every game, it’s very difficult to play that we way. If we put ourselves in the situation and get down 19, 20, and 16 every game…it’s very difficult to win games. You’re going to come back eventually every once and awhile but you are going to lose most of those games. Tonight we came back and we had a chance but we had to lose.” (On third quarter performance) “It’s been happening to us every game of the season. Every game. They either run away 20 up or 16 up to finish the game or we 16, 10 up and then we loose the lead, it’s been happening to us every game of the season.”

Suns Guard Sebastian Telfair

“I think it kind of exemplifies us, how hard of working guys we have. We don’t give up, we get don’t but we don’t give up; we fight back. Tonight wasn’t our night, but it’s all about the fight, us not giving up and us just trying to keep getting better. We got off some good shots, we just didn’t make them. They got off some tough, they got some key offensive rebounds and moved the ball, and they did what they do and they finished. So we go back to the drawing board and see what we did wrong and try and work and get better.”

Chicago Bulls Head Coach Tom Thibodeau

“I thought we did a lot of good things to build the lead, to get it to 18. Then I thought, the fourth quarter, the initial part of the defense was good but the thing that got us was (P.J.) Tucker was crushing us with the second shots, so not finishing our defense was what got us, and then their ball pressure. They got into us. Sometimes I think on the road you’re not going to get calls so you have to be strong, you have to go to your pressure releases, go to your cutting game, and I thought once we started going to the cutting game we started getting some easy buckets and we started getting to the free throw line. So those are things we have to do better, but a lot of guys stepped up and played well for us.”

They came out real aggressive on the defensive end (in the fourth quarter), kind of what we were doing to them in the first half. So we wanted to get back to the basics in overtime and got a win.” (On fourth quarter) “We had a big lead, and when you have a big lead sometimes you slip up. Their bench came out and played hard. They tried to take us out of our passing lanes and things like that. They made a little run but we just wanted to get back to what we’re doing at the beginning of the game.”

Chicago Bulls Forward Luol Deng

(On tonight’s game) “We came in to get the win. We got and we’re glad we got it. We lost three home games. I think it’s good for us to get on the road and be together. It’s good that we got a win. Now we’ll try to get the next one. ”
