BEST GAME OF THE SEASON

March 6 vs. Oklahoma City. Green made a habit of catching fire throughout the season, but this particular game made for a ridiculous case of flame-throwing. The sharp-shooting swingman torched the Thunder for 41 points, including 25 in the third quarter alone. Most impressive of all was his efficiency: 12-of-22 shooting, 8-of-13 from three, plus five boards, three steals and a block on the other end of the floor.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR

OFFSEASON GOAL

Develop better command of the ball when dribbling. Green proved that when he could maintain his handle of the rock and turn the corner around defenders, he was either getting the dunk or a pair of free throws.

At times, his efforts to do just that resulted in turnovers, which he committed nearly two times per contest.

“If I can become a better ball-handler, a better playmaker at the pick-and-roll position or just being a better playmaker off the dribble, I really think I can take my game to another level,” Green said.

HEARD FROM HORNACEK

“Gerald can really light it up. Our guys, when he’s going, our guys really look for him. Whether he’s filling a lane, their eyes are alert. ‘Where’s Gerald? Where’s Gerald?’ If I was a passer, I’d say ‘where’s Gerald’ too because I’d get an assist.”
