With the 2011 NBA Draft closing fast, this current Suns front office will have its first opportunity at improving the organization through the draft.

Having brought in over 40 prospects over the last month, Suns GM Lance Blanks and Suns Director of Player Personnel John Treloar are fast at work and assembling their draft boards. As Blanks noted in a press conference at US Airways Center on Thursday, after the top five picks, where the rest of the players will fall is "cloudy."

On Blanks' wish list is adding size up front, finding a go-to "closer" on the wing and stabilizing the backup point guard situation. Although not particularly top-heavy, the Suns GM believes that the draft posesses the depth necessary to offer teams the ability to find help in their rotations.

"From my research, it looks like this draft is going to be fairly deep," Blanks said, "And hopefully you're one of the teams that gets the right guy that aligns with your organization."

With the Suns making their first lottery pick since 2009, the "experts" have been speculating who the Suns will take with that selection. Check out who "they" have the Suns taking in their mock drafts.
