Brian McKnight to Perform at Suns Home Opener

Mutli-platinum selling R&B artist, Brian McKnight, will sing the national anthem when the Suns take on the New Orleans Hornets in the team’s home opener on Thursday night.

Mutli-platinum selling R&B artist, Brian McKnight, will sing the national anthem when the Suns take on the New Orleans Hornets in the team’s home opener on Thursday, October 30 at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. In addition, McKnight will be the featured halftime performer.

McKnight is currently working on a variety of projects including the release of his February 2009 album titled “Brian McKnight Live from Fifteen,” a talk show and soundtracks for two upcoming Tyler Perry projects. His holiday album titled “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” is available in stores now.

A limited number of full and partial season ticket plans for the 2008-09 season have been released by the Suns and are still available. Fans can purchase any of these season ticket plans as well as single-game tickets for the entire 2008-09 regular season, including opening night, online at Suns.com or by phone at (602) 379-SUNS.

The Suns make their regular-season debut on the road when they take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast locally on My45.
