The Phoenix Suns and Fry’s Food Stores are offering a holiday special of two free tickets to the Suns’ home opener on Monday, December 26 for anyone who purchases $50 worth of groceries on December 26. The team hosts the New Orleans Hornets at US Airways with tipoff set for 7 p.m.

The voucher for the tickets will be printed on the bottom of the receipt. Fans must bring the voucher to the US Airways Center box office on December 26 between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Offer is only valid while supplies last so early voucher redemption is recommended.

Fans are also encouraged to enroll in the 2011-12 Fry’s Suns Rewards program. To become a Fry’s Suns Rewards member, register your Fry’s VIP Card at any Fry’s Food Stores location or online at frysfood.com. Then, purchase participating products and earn one Suns reward point for every dollar spent. Points can be accumulated to redeem exclusive Suns rewards not otherwise offered to the general public, including autographed merchandise, game tickets, in-game experiences and more.

At the game, the Suns and Fry’s Food Stores will give away “Time to Rise” T-shirts to the first 10,000 fans through the doors at Monday’s game. Doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. Single game tickets are available now at Suns.com, by phone at 1-800-4-NBA-TIX, at the US Airways Center box office, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.

Also, as part of the home opener Phoenix native and former American Idol top-5 finisher Brooke White will perform the National Anthem on Monday, December 26th. White has immersed herself in numerous projects since American Idol. Most recently, White teamed up with singer-songwriter Jack Matranga under the moniker JACK AND WHITE. The two released their debut EP “Gemini” in August of 2011 and look to follow it up with a second EP in January of 2012.
