Donation Drive To Be Hosted for Police Tragedy
PHOENIX – In honor of fallen Phoenix Police Department Detective John Hobbs, as well as his wounded counterpart who fought bravely beside him yesterday, the Phoenix Suns will host a monetary donation drive on Thursday night (March 6) at US Airways Center. All proceeds will benefit the 100 Club of Arizona.
Monetary donations will be accepted at all entrances to US Airways Center from 5 - 7 p.m., prior to the Suns’ matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Those who donate will be entered to win Suns autographed merchandise.
The Suns will also observe a moment of silence prior to tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
