Celebrate "Movember" In Support of Men's Health Awareness

In honor of “Movember,” the first 10,000 fans in attendance at Friday’s Phoenix Suns-Brooklyn Nets game will receive a Suns branded “moustache on a stick” in support of men’s health awareness. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at US Airways Center.

Suns Charities 88 will also collect donations at the game with all proceeds benefitting the Movember Foundation, a global charity that encourages men to grow their facial hair throughout the month of November to create awareness and raise funds to battle prostate and testicular cancer, and mental health challenges. Fans can also make a donation by visiting the Suns Charities 88 Movember Foundation team page at www.Suns.com/Stache88.

Suns Charities 88, named after Phoenix Suns Charities’ inaugural year, 1988, is a partnership with presenting donor Wells Fargo Bank and focuses on three main principles: professional development, collaborative partnerships and philanthropy. In addition to offering its members the opportunity to network and grow as professionals, the group raises funds for Phoenix Suns Charities, which has granted more than $13 million to Arizona youth and their families since 1988. For more information about Suns Charities 88, please contact Phoenix Suns Charities Director, Sarah Krahenbuhl, at skrahenbuhl@suns.com or 602-379-7559.
