The Phoenix Suns Wives organization has teamed up with Cold Stone Creamery to host their annual book drive Sunday, March 18 when the Suns take on the Houston Rockets at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., with doors scheduled to open at 5 p.m.

Members of the Suns Wives will collect donations at each entrance to the arena, where fans will receive one raffle ticket per book donated and will be entered to win one of five Suns’ prize packages.

Each of the five prize packages will represent a different Suns star and include an autographed jersey, a chance to meet the Suns player and a Cold Stone Creamery gift card. Prize packages feature one of the following Suns players: Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Jared Dudley, Markieff Morris and Ronnie Price.

Fans can also participate in the book drive and receive a FREE Cold Stone Creamery giveaway by donating new or gently used children’s and young adult books to any Cold Stone location valley-wide through this Friday, March 16. For each donation of two or more books, fans will receive a complimentary Like It Creation™ with one mix-in.

Following the book drive, Valley non-profit organizations will arrive at US Airways Center at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 19 to collect books for their programs. In previous years, more than 10,000 books were collected to supply children in need with reading materials as part of the Suns Wives’ early literacy program.

The Suns Wives organization is comprised of the significant others of the players, coaches, basketball operations staff and senior management. The Suns Wives strive to make a difference in the lives of families and children by volunteering time, energy and resources to various charitable organizations throughout the Valley.

Single-game tickets are still available for the Suns-Rockets game on Sunday. Fans can purchase theirs today at Suns.com/tickets or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX.
