2009 NBA All-Star Jam Session – Job Opportunities

NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by adidas provides fans the once in a lifetime experience of participating in NBA All-Star excitement, where the chance to meet & collect FREE autographs from NBA Players & Legends is just the beginning. Jam Session is coming to Phoenix, February 11 - 16, 2009 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

We are looking for 10 enthusiastic Talent Escorts to assist us at Jam Session with escorting talent/guests to and from assigned areas/scheduled appearances.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Escort talent/guests to and from Credential Desk and Green Room; escort additional guests to Center Court
  • Maintain communication with Attraction Managers. Keep them informed as to when a talent is being escorted to their area.
  • Assist with Center Court set-up for celebrity activities (i.e., towels, participant seating/benches, prize distribution) and clear court at conclusion
  • Assist Talent Production Office Coordinator with office functions upon request
  • Escort talent to and from Green Room to scheduled appearances
  • Escort sponsors/VIPs to sponsor hospitality functions
  • Assist with Center Court seating for talent’s guests

    Requirements:

  • Previous talent escort experience or experience working in the entertainment industry very helpful
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Event experience very helpful
