Jr. Suns/ Jr. Mercury League Divisions
The league offers 3 divisions of play based on skill level: Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3.
Division 1 is for players who have a high level of ability and experience. This league is not for beginners. This is where you can form your own team. Participants for Division 1 must meet the AAU age guidelines for both boys and girls 9 to 18 year olds (3rd through 12th grade).
Division 2 is for the intermediate to advanced players who have displayed an above average level of skill for their age. All players are placed on teams according to their school grade following the league evaluation and draft. All participants are guaranteed a minimum amount of playing time each game.
Division 3 is recreational or instructional. Players ages 4 to 18 can register individually or as a team. All participants are guaranteed a minimum amount of playing time each game.
