The 2010 Western Conference Finals was not the first time the Suns and Lakers met in the postseason.

Suns vs. Lakers
In 2010, the Suns and Lakers renewed one of the NBA's best rivalries. One which began in the 1970s and has never appeared to have lost its luster.

    THE MEMORIES

NBA All-Star History In 2010, both Steve Nash and Amar'e Stoudemire were selected to represent the Suns at the 2010 All-Star Game in Dallas. It was the first time two Suns players had gotten the starting nod in the midseason affair since Charles Barkley and Dan Majerle, but not by any means the only time two or more players from Phoenix were chosen to participate in the game overall.
