Guard
Dan Majerle
Few knew much about Dan
Majerle when the Suns made him the 14th pick in the 1988 NBA Draft,
but with his physical play and monstrous slams, "Thunder Dan"
quickly became a fan favorite. In seven seasons in Phoenix, he was
named to three All-Star teams, the NBA's All-Defensive team twice
and even Dream Team II. Majerle, who had a clothing line and a
local restaurant named after him while in Phoenix, averaged 14.6
points and 5.0 rebounds with the Suns, and was the club's starting
two guard during its run to the NBA Finals in 1993. In 1995, he was
traded to Cleveland in a deal for John Williams.
