Senior Executive Vice President

Harvey Shank is in his 44th season with the Suns and 10th as senior executive vice president.
He works directly with the Marketing Partnerships department in assisting in the selling of
radio and television advertising packages, along with signage packages in US Airways Center.

Shank, who initially started with the Suns as assistant sales and promotions manager prior
to the 1971-72 season, has held titles of senior vice president of corporate sales, vice president
of marketing and director of marketing with the organization.

A native of Toronto, Canada, Shank is a 1968 graduate of Stanford University with a political science degree and
excelled on the baseball diamond for the Cardinal. He still holds the record for lowest earned run average at Stanford,
going 13-2 with an ERA of 1.10 in his senior season. Shank pitched four years in the California Angels organization.

An avid nature photographer, Shank had one of his pictures featured on the cover of a national publication, Nature
Photographer magazine. In addition, he enjoys golf and sports a four-handicap.

Shank was married in 1988 to his wife, Maryse. His son, Jon, played baseball at Stanford, and he has three
grandchildren, Brooklyn (4), Audrey (2) and Will who arrived September 1st. Shank has served on the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes’ board, as an advisor on the Fresh Start Men’s Board and is active in Living Streams Christian Church.
