August 13 is National Left-Handers Day so Suns.com's Greg Esposito decided to put together his Top 5 Greatest Left-Handed Suns in this edition of GregsList.
No. 5 Paul Westphal: Was there any doubt Paul Westphal would be on the list? Although he wasn't a natural lefty, he was ambidextrous on the court, capable of hitting shots with both hands. More than enough reason to be on the list.
No. 4 Elliot Perry: Any opportunity to mention Elliot "Socks" Perry on the site is a good one. He was a fan favorite and a great energy guy who happened to be a lefty.
No. 3 Wayman Tisdale: Known for his brilliant smile and tough play, Tisdale was a beloved Sun in the '90s. He also is one of the best southpaws in Suns history.
No. 2 Goran Dragic: Does Dragic belong this high on the list? Just ask the 2010 Spurs who witnessed his 23-point 4th quarter first hand.
No. 1 Gail Goodrich: Goodrich is a basketball Hall of Famer. His play as a Sun -- averaging 21.9 points and 4.8 rebounds -- earned him a spot on the top of the list even after only playing two seasons in purple and orange.
