After returning from the All-Star break, the Suns picked up two big wins on a back-to-back set over the Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics to kick off the second half of the season on the right foot. At 32-21, the Suns continue their push for the playoffs.

(On the significance of P.J. Tucker to this year’s team)
“Shhh… We don’t want anyone to go after him when he’s a free agent,” Hornacek said with a smile. “No, P.J. is a workhorse – he plays hard, he brings the intensity all the time. He’s got a knack for the ball and when he’s determined to get it he goes and gets it. He’s made some big plays for us last night and then again tonight.

“We are figuring out different ways to win.
”I thought that yesterday [against the Denver Nuggets] we got a win off our defense, we got some stops at the end and Gerald [Green] came up big at the free throw line and I think tonight was kind of the same thing.
"It is what it is; we are going to have to find ways to win, every game is going to be tough, guys are fighting for their playoff lives, fighting for their positions and just in general. For us we are just constantly trying to figure things out and trying to go out there and play.”

”I just got in foul trouble kind of early. When I was on the bench, I was getting mad but my teammates just kept telling me ‘Stay in it, stay in it. Don’t let it get to you. You have the whole second half to play.’
”I just tried to stay in it and see what I can do to help my team win. Guys were setting good screens for me. Goran [Dragic] was finding me. We were out there playing defense and running in transition.
