Suns Fan Artists: Create a Cover of Free Throw
Fans are once again encouraged to put their creativity to work and help design unique covers for the Suns' official game-night program, Free Throw. For each game during the 2012-13 season, a different fan's piece of art will grace the cover of of the publication, which is distributed free of charge (get it, FREE throw?) to fans as they head to their seats at US Airways Center.
If you have some Suns artwork that you think your fellow fans might enjoy, or are inspired to create something new, send it in. See the required specs at the bottom of this page for all the information you need, and you could see your masterpiece in print like countless fan submissions from past seasons...

COVER ARTWORK SPECS
Original artwork (pencil, paint, charcoal, crayons, markers, etc.) should be on paper with an image area of approximately 7" wide by 10.75" tall. No canvas paintings, matted or framed art, please. Original artwork should be mailed to:

Page size for digital artwork must be 5.625" wide x 8.625" tall. The outer .125" of this area will not be printed. Do not put important visual elements close to the page edge or in the top 1.5" of the page, as we will add the publication's title, date and specific game information to your artwork in that space. Also, please do not include the Suns' logo in your artwork, as that will be included within the masthead information.

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, we can't pay you for your art. But if selected, your personal creation will appear on the cover of the Suns' game-program and we will spotlight your name inside the publication, along with any interesting information you'd like to provide us (your age, city, history as a Suns fan, favorite players, fan photo, etc). All fans whose submission is chosen for publication will receive a copy of the issue featuring their artwork.
