No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. To enter the Promotion, individuals must register online at Suns.com between Dec. 15, 2008 and April 15, 2009. Additionally, fans can earn up to five bonus entries in the Promotion, one per friend’s e-mail address that they provide at time of registration. Friends will receive one (1) automated e-mail notifying them of the promotion. Fans may also enter by sending a 3x5 card with their name, age, address and phone number to: “Suns Virtual Locker Room Promotion,” 201 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85004. Alternate means of entry must be postmarked by April 6, 2009. Incomplete or duplicate entries will be void. The Phoenix Suns and Suns Legacy Partners, LLC is not responsible for inaccurate entry information or for lost, misdirected, late, postage due, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries, whether caused by participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this promotion, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries. There is a maximum of one (1) entry per person per day.
Prizes. The following prizes will be awarded: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a road trip for two (2) to watch the Suns on the road during the 2009-10 regular season. Trip will consist of two (2) round-trip airline tickets from Phoenix to the opponents’ home city, two (2) tickets to a Suns game played on the road, and hotel accommodations for two (2) [double occupancy in room required] for two (2) nights in the opponents’ city. Dates and destination to be determined by Phoenix Suns. Winner must take the trip on the dates determined or forfeit the prize. Expiration dates will not be extended and tickets will not be refundable or redeemable for cash or credit at any time, nor will tickets be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets may not be sold to a third party. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the game, unless otherwise indicated. Any other expenses incurred in claiming the grand prize are not included. The retail of the Prize is approximately $3000.
Thirteen (13) Runner-Up Prize Winners will receive game-worn Phoenix Suns jerseys; one (1) game-worn jersey for each player on the Suns’ 2008-09 roster (as of April 15, 2009) will be given away. Jersey and date worn to be determined by the Phoenix Suns. The retail of the Runner-Up Prizes ($500 each).
Prize Drawings. Drawings will be held on April 20, 2009. Winners will be notified by telephone within 48 hours of drawing and will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If any Prize is not claimed within 24 hours of notification, or if any Winner does not meet qualification criteria, an alternate Winner will be selected. Entries not drawn at any given drawing will be discarded and will not be eligible for subsequent drawings.
Odds of Winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each drawing.
Taxes and Expenses. Winners are responsible for any local, state and federal taxes. Any additional expenses incident to any prize are the responsibility of each respective winner.
Additional Terms. Suns Legacy Partners, L.L.C. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this Promotion should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond the Phoenix Suns' control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the Promotion. Suns Legacy Partners, L.L.C. is not responsible for any human error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor is it responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, whether caused by the sender or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion. Suns Legacy Partners, L.L.C. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion; to have acted in violation of these rules; or to have acted in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Suns Legacy Partners, L.L.C. and their agents are not responsible for any printing or technical error which may occur in processing, printing or distribution of Promotion materials.
Miscellaneous. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these rules. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prizes is permitted except by the Phoenix Suns due to prize availability, and then with a prize of equal or greater value. By accepting prizes, winners agree that the Phoenix Suns, the NBA and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., Phoenix Arena Development Limited Partnership, Sports & Entertainment Services, LLC, the Phoenix Mercury, the Phoenix RoadRunners, the City of Phoenix and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents will have no liability and will be held harmless by winners for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or to person, including death, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes or participation in this Promotion, even if caused or contributed to by the negligence of the Phoenix Suns, the NBA and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., Phoenix Arena Development Limited Partnership, Sports & Entertainment Services, LLC, , the Phoenix Mercury, the Phoenix RoadRunners, the City of Phoenix. Participants agree that the decisions of the Contest Committee related to this Promotion are final. By participating in Promotion, winners consent to the use of their names, likenesses and/or voices for any advertising or promotional purposes without further consent or compensation except where prohibited by law. By entering this contest you agree and acknowledge that you may be contacted in the future by the Phoenix Suns and your name and any other personal information you have provided will automatically be added to the Phoenix Suns “In The Post” and “Downtown Live” databases, from which you will receive e-mails containing news and promotional information at the e-mail address which you have provided.
