Fans Invited to US Airways Center for Viewing Party

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns are opening the doors to US Airways Center when the team takes to the road to continue its NBA Playoffs push against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, April 24 in Salt Lake City. The Suns are inviting fans inside the arena to view the game on the Center’s main scoreboard, as well as offering them the unique opportunity to shoot around on the Suns main court prior to tip-off.

The shoot-around will run from 6 – 7 p.m., with tip-off in Utah scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Phoenix time. Admission is free to the public.

Suns Ring of Honor member, Tom Chambers, along with broadcast partner, Kevin Ray, will emcee the event and provide analysis throughout the Suns-Jazz game that evening. Members of the Suns Dancers, Solar Squad and Verve Sol Patrol will interact with fans and offer entertainment during timeouts and other breaks in the action.

Fans will enjoy special priced food and drink, including $1 bargain hot dogs, corn dogs, popcorn and nachos, in addition to .50 sodas. In addition, the APS Gorilla’s Greenhouse will be open for free-play throughout the event for children in attendance.

In addition, fans will receive exclusive offers on 2012-13 Suns SixthMan Membership during the event.
