European national teams are preparing the best way possible for their biggest hoops tournament by playing tournament-style exhibition schedules to help simulate the competitive feel of the upcoming Eurobasket 2013.

If the "friendly" tournaments are any indication, the Suns may be well represented.

Goran Dragic helped Slovenia down Italy in the Adecco Cup final, pouring in 19 points in a fast-paced, 92-84 win. The win capped off a thrilling show for host country, Slovenia, which saw Dragic, Bostjan Nachbar and Edo Muric do most of the heavy lifting.

Dragic's 19 points tied Nachbar for game-high scoring honors, enough to counter their NBA counterpart Marco Belinelli's 18 points.

Meanwhile Marcin Gortat and former Suns player Maciej Lampe helped Poland win the Lublin international tournament, combining for 29 points in the title game win over Sweden. Detroit Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko scored 14 points.

Gortat finished with 44 points combined in three games over a three-night span in Lublin.

Eurobasket 2013 will go from Sept. 4 through Sept. 22, taking place in Dragic's home country of Slovenia.
