Guard/Forward | 6’-6” | 225 lbs. | UCLA

Shabazz Muhammad knows how to score in a variety of ways. That is what made him highly coveted coming out of high school and what led him to one of the best basketball colleges in the country – UCLA. After one season in L.A. there are a few questions about Muhammad’s defensive abilities and the way that he shares the ball. Still, he projects to be a lottery pick after scoring more than 17 points per game and grabbing more than five rebounds per game at UCLA. The left-hander can get his own shot, creates off the dribble and off a screen.

“Muhammad has the innate ability to perform at his best when the stakes are highest. He’s best late in the game, always wants to take the important shots and doesn’t shy away from pressure. He seems to thrive under pressure.”

- Peter Yoon, ESPNLosAngeles.com

"Yeah, my coaches had me either at the two or the three, but I think with my length I could play a little three. I do prefer the two. I’m up there with the twos as one of the biggest, so I really think that’s to my advantage … I think I shot the heck out of the ball today. I think shot the ball really well. That’s something I’ve been working really hard on, and it’s been paying off."
