Forward | 6’-8” | 240 lbs. | UNLV

A Canadian import, Anthony Bennett spent one breakout season at UNLV, where he led the Runnin’ Rebels with 16.1 points per game. A bulldog down low, Bennett has the prototypical power forward body, although he might be a little shorter than some would like. But to call him a power forward doesn’t do his versatility justice, because Bennett can step out and shoot the three – as evidenced by his three-point shooting percentage of 37 percent. Showing how dominant he can be, the big man averaged 21 points and 10.7 rebounds against non-conference opponents like Oregon, North Carolina, Iowa State and California.

“Bennett, who has drawn comparisons to former UNLV star Larry Johnson, continues to give fans a reason to keep coming back. Despite his size, Bennett is able to score from both the paint and the perimeter. He handles the ball away from the basket and is a tenacious rebounder, especially on the offensive end.”
