Suns Charities Adds Deborah Bateman to Board of Directors

Phoenix Suns Charities announces the naming of Deborah Bateman to its Board of Directors.

Bateman currently serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Wealth Strategies for National Bank of Arizona. She is responsible for several key departments including Nonprofit Banking and the Women’s Financial Group. Bateman has received numerous honors for her achievements, most notably being recognized as the 2010 Stevie Award winner for “Best Executive in the Financial Services Industry.”

An active member in the community, Bateman is currently an Arizona Skills Standard Commissioner for the Arizona State Department of Education. Additionally, she serves as a board member for Homeward Bound, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, and Childhelp.

Phoenix Suns Charities is the cornerstone of the team’s foundation, making grants to non-profit organizations that serve children and youth in the areas of education, health and human services, the arts, sports and recreation, and rehabilitation. In the 23 years since its inception, Phoenix Suns Charities has donated over 11 million dollars to worthy Arizona organizations.
