Suns, Cold Stone Host Book Drive The Suns Wives held its annual book drive this month, partnering with Stone Cold Creamery to collect more than 6,000 books for Valley non-profit organizations. The donated books supply children in need with reading materials as part of the Suns Wives organization’s early literacy program.

Suns, APS Dedicate Yuma Court The Suns and APS hosted a basketball court dedication at Winsor Rotary Park in Yuma. Suns alumnus Cedric Ceballos, along with broadcaster Tom Leander and the Suns Gorilla, helped dedicate the new court as part of the APS Power Players program. Celebrity Waiters 2009 The Suns spent a night serving their fans at the 13th annual Celebrity Waiters event to benefit Suns Nite Hoops. Richardson, Suns Rebuilding Together The Phoenix Suns, Rebuilding Together and Enterprise Car Sales teamed up to convert solid core doors into Suns themed bunk beds for deserving families of Save the Family on Thursday, October 29. Sergeant Williams Re-Enlists at US Airways Center When Air Force Sergeant Brian Williams decided to re-enlist in the military for another four-year tour of duty as a Military Working Dog Handler, the nine-year veteran had his choice of where to hold the ceremony. The long-time Suns fan chose center court at US Airways Center and was presented with gifts from the Suns Gorilla, and Suns President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Steve Kerr.
