On Friday, October 18, in downtown Phoenix, Phoenix Suns forward Channing Frye and guard Ish Smith served as honorary co-chairs for the Suns Charities 88 inaugural progressive dinner, the “Slam Dunk” street party.
The “Slam Dunk” street party, presented by Fidelity National Title Agency, tipped-off with a cocktail reception on the plaza at US Airways Center and then moved to Central Avenue for a sit-down dinner. The event culminated back at the arena with dancing, dessert and live entertainment by local band, Elvis Before Noon, on the main court level.
During the event, guests enjoyed complimentary drinks, including a signature cocktail, the “Buzzer Beater,” as well as an exclusive menu with seasonal and local fare created by Levy Restaurants Executive Chef, Jon Clancy.
Proceeds from the “Slam Dunk” street party benefitted Phoenix Suns Charities, the philanthropic arm of the Phoenix Suns which provides grants to children and family services throughout Arizona.
