Goodwin Nails Game-Winner in Bakersfield Win

Believe it or not, some game-winners are actually being made by Suns players instead of being suffered by them.

In his latest D-League assignment with Bakersfield, Archie Goodwin provided his usual production (35 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals) and added a dash of late-game heroics for good measure. With the Jam and Reno tied 137-137, the second-year guard drove hard left, rose and hit a highly contested jumper that proved to be the difference with 3.1 seconds left.

The shot capped off Goodwin's ninth game with Bakersfield this season. The former Kentucky standout is averaging 22.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals pergame while shooting 46.0 percent from the floor.

Suns teammate and fellow Bakersfield assignee Reggie Bullock also made his mark with the Jam, posting 18 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes on Sunday. It was the third consecutive double-double for Bullock in as many appearances for the Jam. Bullock is averaging 23.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks while shooting 47.3 percent overall and 38.1 percent from three.
