| SEASON RECAP | SUMMER LEAGUE FAST FACTS |
|---|---|
| Record (Southeast Division): 33-49 (fourth) Statistical leaders: Gerald Wallace (18.1 ppg) Emeka Okafor (11.3 rpg) Raymond Felton (7.0 apg) Summary: Though the Bobcats finished the season 16 games under .500, the team showed signs of a bright future. Gerald Wallace led the team in scoring (18.1 ppg) and steals (2.0 spg). While Raymond Felton quickly emerged as a leader and finished ranked 10th in the NBA in assists per game, 14th in steals per game and earned three straight Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month Awards to end the season. 2007-08 OUTLOOK The Bobcats have a young team and, with three rookies logging significant minutes in 2006-07, should be vastly improved for the 2007-08 season. This young group will continue to grow and give other teams fits because of their numerous offensive weapons. Adding Jason Richardson to the mix will only improve an offense that began to heat up late in the season. | SUMMER IN ORLANDO: T-First COACHED BY: John-Blair Bickerstaff Overal Record: 3-2 2006: 3-2 1st WIN: 85-70 vs. MIA (July 14, 2006) 2007 Draft: RD1: (8) F Brandan Wright.
