Posted Sunday July 22, 2012 6:24PM

The Milwaukee Bucks (4-1) blew out the Chicago Bulls (1-4) by a score of 113-68 in the opening game of the final day of the 2012 NBA Summer League in Cox Pavilion on the campus of University of Nevada-Las Vegas. The Bucks had five players in double-figures and were led by Tobias Harris who collected 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting. As a team, Milwaukee shot 65 percent from the floor, connecting on 49-of-75 shot attempts.

Both teams were coming off close games last night and were looking to wrap up their summer schedule on a positive note The Bulls were looking to rebound following a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers and the Bucks entered today following a nail-biting victory over the Boston Celtics last night at Thomas and Mack.

Milwaukee hit the ground running in the first quarter, jumping out to a 28-17 lead sparked by John Hensen. Hensen, drafted 14th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, scored 12 first quarter points on perfect 6-for-6 shooting from the floor. He finished with 16 points on the day. Milwaukee shot 75 percent from the field, nailing 12-of-16 shot attempts in the opening quarter.

The Bucks carried a 54-37 lead into the half with the help of Harris, who will be entering his second year in the league with Milwaukee. Harris helped propel the lead with 16 points in the first half. He appeared in 42 games in his rookie campaign and has been an elite scorer during his time in Las Vegas. Harris came into the game averaging 21.5 points, ranking him fifth among all players.

Milwaukee extended their lead to 86-50 with a dominant third quarter, outscoring the Bulls 32-13. The Bucks had a lot of success running the floor and had 3 fast break points compared to the eight scored by the Bulls.

Aaron Miles, who made his NBA debut in 2005 for the Golden State Warriors put together an impressive performance, handing off 12 assists in just 17 minutes of action.

Jermaine Taylor was a bright spot for Chicago in the loss. Taylor was selected in the 2009 NBA Draft, 32nd overall by the Washington Wizards and has bounced around between China and the NBA Development league since. It was a breakout game for Taylor who registered a game-high 21 points.

With the win, the Bucks completed their summer schedule going 4-1. While the Bulls wrapped up their slate and finished 1-4 in Las Vegas.
